   Used by a black American male to a white man in Bernard Malamud’s The Tenants. It is made a feature of the character’s speech that he takes a standard insult such as ‘bastard’, ‘prick’, or ‘shit’ and replaces the ‘you’ that would normally precede it with a qualifying word such as ‘Jew’ or ‘white’.
